A day in the life of a 2 year old 12-8-07
Well the weather stinks, I know I know we need the moisture but driving in freezing conditions is no picnic. I went to my parents house this morning to get a much needed micro from my mom and of course Brenden came with me. Caden stayed at my grandmas which worked out good for me because Brenden was so hi per today you would have thought that I had given him pure sugar for breakfast! After I was done with my micro I figured I 'd stay awhile in this weather there is not much else to do besides at least at my folks I'd have adult conversation. But that was not the case, Brenden needed to be the center of attention, dumping out the toy basket, throwing things down the stairs, standing 2 inches away from the TV after repeated attempts to scoot him back by the time I left I thought I might be insane. Then when I got home my driveway held about 4 glistening inches of snow calling my name to shovel by the time I was done I could not feel my fingers, yep all 10 of them were completely numb. But now that I am inside and the feeling in my fingers has returned (otherwise I'd be concerned how these words are typing themselves) I can sit back and thank GOD that I have a warm home to come home to and a beautiful son though he makes me crazy he also reminds me of youth and innocence two things I think we all need to be reminded of more often
